One Day: Posterous Preposterous or What's Wrong with This Blog

So there used to be this website, “Posterous”. It was a blog-site plus. I'm not exactly sure plus what, I know there was a lot more one could do with it than I did, but what I did with it was pretty slick I thought. One could send them an email, and they would post that email on any number of different sites selected by the individual, as a blog post. I took full advantage to suit my purposes. My posts went to their blog, my “Blogspot” blog and my website blog. Notifications of new blog posts were tweeted and posted as status updates on my, “Puccini-art” Facebook page.

I think things posted to the internet should stay there forever, for time immemorial. Posterous did not share that sentiment. Photo-wise, anything I posted through their medium has been flushed down the cyber-toilet, which is really quite a shame as this is an art-blog. Grandiose achievements I've made over the past years have been blacked out. I'm aware that the conscientious thing to do would be to go back through and replace all the pictures. In deed, it would be in my better interest. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to do it. If there is something referenced that you come across that you'd really like to see, you let me know, and I'll make that happen for you.

Onto what's new with, “Puccini-art”. Summer of '13 will always be known by me as the “Summer of the Sell-out”. These things are really a matter of perspective. Some would likely say my accomplishments this year were wonderful. I have mixed feelings. I feel like I made some rookie mistakes in choosing projects to take on, things I know better about. Still I agreed to them and saw them through.

I walk around muttering, “I must change my ways.” I'm looking forward to some self-directed art adventures in the near future. Alright, I'll compromise slightly and post my major works that can no longer be seen thanks to, “Posterous” the rest I'm gonna let slide.
